Loubelle the Garden Spider. She has been with us since late summer. Gorgeous Spider!
Ugh! I cannot stand fall weather. Put on your wetsuit to go surfing, UGH! Now the wizard is making fun of me for whining about the water.
Nothing says I'm freezing worse than having a tan and then getting hit with 57 degree weather. I suppose it could be worse.
No running for me. I'm happily rehabbing Achilles tendonitis. Blech!
I have been around Blogspot but my engagement has been rather limited. There are times when you feel like posting and then there are times where you don't have the inspiration. I once posted every week day.
Certainly I have a lot to say. I still have my sense of humor...
Mistake #1 - Discussing politics with my wife's aunt. Ahhhh S**t!
Mistake #2 - Discussing religion with my closed minded, guilt laden Christian friends. Even Worse. I would do better negotiating with my radical Muslim acquaintances. *Whew*
Mistake #3- Talking about taking physical risks with my father. He is such a puss. He may as well hop around in a circle and live in a bubble.
Mistake #4- Not taking a real vacation this year. Big mistake and now my mind is warped.
Mistake #5- Big one. I regret all the live music opportunities I have turned down.
Mistake #6 - Oh, I still dream about "that" girl at times...Ha! It worked out for the better however...
Success comes with a fair share of mistakes and I'm willing to live with these mistakes. Show me someone who has never made a mistake and I'll show you someone who has never tried.
Will I make some more mistakes? Hell, the day is young. Of course I will...
Peace be with you and those you love.
Bobby
I've made lots of mistakes myself. No sin in that. Not learning from your mistakes...now THAT'S truly something regretful. ;)

Regarding "that" girl ... I think of all the boys I've loved before (and left them gasping on the floor). Whoot.
ReplyDeleteDiscussing politics with in-laws and religion with Christians? My. You have a death-wish!
Scott - I make a few of the same mistakes over and over again and I pay for it like a champ.
ReplyDeleteVam - I asked my wife's very Democratic Aunt what she thought about the current administration and she attacked Bush. I redirected her and said I didn't ask about Bush...The we spoke about Bloomberg & Guiliani and I asked her what she thought about them....oh boy...In reality Guiliani cleaned up NYC and made it damn safe.
So are you like the Aggie who lost $20 on the football bet? $10 on the game, and $10 on the instant replay? ;)

Ack, that looks like a big spider!
ReplyDeleteI don't think that spider would have lasted long around here. Your mistake number #2. Oh! I get that one!
ReplyDeleteHi, Bobby, good to see you still plucking along on Blogspot with us.
ReplyDeleteAbout that spider? Ewww. Not seen one like that here, we have wolf spiders, that's enough Halloween for me.LOL.
So far Fall here has brought the rain. Then again what's new in BC? Mm..nutting. Trying to embrace all the comforts of home-its working:)
Take care and warm hugs your way~
Dee~
PS. I'm a grandmom to a pretty ginger-baby-girl:)
Tough to let go of summer...just think of it as one of the many transitions us mid 40 yr olds deal with :) You need to post more. It is missed. Thx for watching for the girly lids.
ReplyDeleteHey Bobby...the worst people to discuss religion with are christians! Now watch me get a bunch of hate mail, lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat spider..she reminds me of Charlotte...I'm a 'put the spider outside' kind of girl, unless it's super huge...in that case I ignore it and soon it's gone. I have no idea where the big ones go, all I know is that with time we forget about each other...kind of like ex husbands...we've all made mistakes!
Where ya hidin out????
ReplyDeleteHi Bobby, just checking in;)
